It's week one and it's time to git 'er done! (Larry the Cable Guy reference for you that don't know). Git 'er done, meaning, time to make my predictions for week one of the 2004 NFL season.
Here are the basics of the game:
1) I start the season with $1,000 dollars in fake money.
2) The minimum I can bet on one game is $50 and the maximum I can bet is the whole bank. Even if I am in negative figures, which I hope I'm not, I'll continue to bet and become wildly addicted while putting my future on the line (or something like that).
3) No spreads, no odds, no nothing. I bet the money and if I win, I get the money, if I lose, I lose the money. That simple. You don't need to be a high roller to understand it.
4) I have one "Underdog Pick of the Week" also.
Week One Picks
Winners are underlined.
In the bank: $1,000
Indianapolis @ New England - $100
Cincinnati @ New York Jets - $150
Baltimore @ Cleveland - $150
Detroit @ Chicago - $50
Tampa Bay @ Washington - $100
and the UNDERDOG PICK OF THE WEEK!:
Atlanta @ San Francisco - $200

Thanks for that super comment, Evan. My rebuttal will also be short and simple: yes.

Dude, I hope you aren't paying high juice because although we pulled it out, we didn't look good doing it. Better luck on the rest of the games :)
When will Peyton learn that Foxboro just isn't his friend?

It wasn't pretty at all but a W is a W. Bill Belichick will definently have some work to do this week to improve the rushing defense. It was ugly and Belichick knows it.
