New England - 31 @ Buffalo - 17
This game was very ugly and I think everyone can admit it. Atleast I picked the team that won, right?
Though it was close throughout, and the Bills even had the lead at one point, this Bill Belichick defense was able to tighten up and stop the Bills after halftime. The Bills got lucky at some points while the Pats got lucky too. The better team did win though.
New Orleans - 10 @ Arizona - 34
Nobody in their right minds would say the Arizona Cardinals would beat the New Orleans Saints. We know New Orleans is bad, and can't come through in the clutch, but this is really bad. This is "move to the bottom of the totum poll" bad.
Emmitt Smith had 127 yards rushing -- 1. 2. 7. The funny thing is, I picked Emmitt up right before the game started on my fantasy football team because I needed a starter (Shaun Alexander = BYE). I expected maybe 40 yards, but 127 is good too.
Indianapolis - 24 @ Jacksonville - 17
This game was WAY too close for comfort. I know Jacksonville has good defense but I didn't expect them to stay in this game like they did.
I'm happy that Jacksonville has finally lost. I was sick and tired of hearing how "Jacksonville is a better team than the Patriots" and they are going to the Super Bowl. Well, they may be a good team, but I don't think it's necessary to say they'll be the Super Bowl champions. Definitely not after last season, either.
Indy wins -- Yay.
Tennessee - 17 @ San Diego - 38
The only reason I put a Tennessee prediction up on my site was because my friend Matt likes the Titans and always wonders if I'd pick them or not. Two words after this disgusting lose: never again.
I don't bet on the Ravens anymore and I don't bet on the Titans. In what seems to be a lock, the Titans lose by 21 points to the San Diego team that was terrible last season, and will probably be the same this year.
THE UNDERDOG PICK OF THE WEEK!
St. Louis - 24 @ San Francisco - 14
Could of been worse, right?
Yes. Now I am just happy that they stayed in the game...
