Finally good to see my Cordero for Ramirez trade paying dividends. Oh yeah, and it helps the Sox, too.

Wake is awesome. I don't want to think about when he finally decides to walk away from baseball. Probably won't ever see someone like him again.

Hm. Pretend those sentences are worded correctly in the above comment. Me fail English? That's unpossible.

Savannah's Dad

Tim Wakefield is awesome. If the Pirates had decided to start him in Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS (he had already won Games 3 & 6) Picksburgh would've been the first team to lose the World Series to a Canadian side, because the Atlanta Braves, not exactly "murderer's row" in October under the best of times, absolutely could not hit him a lick that year.

That was almost 13 freaking years ago. Considering that Wake wasn't exactly young then (although he did have considerably more hair), it is amazing that he's still kicking it after all these years. He should be considered Boston's ace based on the results so far.

I look at that priceless picture of Manny and all I can think is "If you build it,...".
Where the hell is he in that pic, anyway? Friggin' Kansas?
Ah, the enigma of Manolito.

If you build it...Manny will pop up hollering, "Eeey, what is up weet todo el maiz, mang? Lemme tell you, papi, I never seen so much damn corn een my life."

I love Manny's expression there-- "what is that box with the flashy light?"
