I continue watching = ChadBrad gives up a granny, Sox bats become constipated once again.
I shut off the game = Varitek homers to tie it in the 9th, Schilling gets the save with help from Johnny Damon in CF, then Johnny hits a 10th inning homer to win it.
The rational side of my brain wishes to remind me at this point that correlation is not causation. The blurring of these two concepts is what results in superstition. Nothing more.
