I too have a football vomit story! Sadly it did not end in a win for the intended team, but it was still pretty impressive.

That Ben Watson play was SICK. He was tackled like 5 times. I mean, he was STOPPED. But NO. Because PATRIOTS.

And I still can't believe Asante snagged that one after the way they'd been harassing him in the first half. If he could get consistent and a little more physical, zowee.

Great recap. Of course, if Shaughnessy is to be believed, it was the weather that beat the Jags, not the Pats. And if you relied on his account of the game, you wouldn't begin to know how brilliant Watson's TD run was.

sam, photos are coming.

mike, right, which is why i don't read shaughnessy. :-) except through the dan shaughnessy blog, of course.

Anything, even vomit, was worth it for that second half. Bring on next weekend and Denver, and let it snow!

Hey where are the shots of the puke? Ha ha. Great pics!

Great post, Beth. Your description of the Watson touchdown had me on the edge of my seat, and I don't even follow football!

The pics were great. They made me realise how much I miss the atmosphere of live sporting events (even when the temperature is on the wrong side of zero). I haven't been to a live game and experienced this kind of thing:

As Watson did his leap, I all but duplicated it, flinging myself onto my dad and hugging him as the minutemen fired their muskets

for way too long.
