Their collapse on Saturday night was a great early Father's Day gift. With Soriano on 1st in the 8th I was reminded of Game 4 and the Rivera / Dave Roberts duel.

Rivera is really not comfortable at all with a speedy runner on first, and Soriano finally stole second, then stole third and scored on Posada's throwing error. He was distracted enough to then walk the winning run, who was then promptly driven home by Jose Guillen. Sweet.


Man, I forreal HATE the DC Expos...but I didn't this weekend.

Such a pretty picture. All those red jerseys, the sun-bright crowd blurred in the background, and Zimmerman rising above it all.

Of course, the Yankees getting beaten soundly always looks good, but it's nice when it's photographed well to boot.
