Not of the magnitude of the one against the Colts a few years ago, but still--practically in their own end zone, the Pats held firm on fourth down, and from the furthest reaches of their own territory, engineered a drive all the way back for another touchdown, thanks to a fantastic catch by Kevin Faulk (who landed on the football, apparently, knocking the wind out of himself).
I don't know how much I ascribe to the concept of "momentum" but if there is such a thing, it has at least been rebalanced now, if not shifted back to the Pats. For the moment. Until the Bills try to run again, in which case I would hope our defense can figure something out.
Yeah, great. Right off the kickoff, and Buffalo's on the 41. Argh.
Update: Okay, I stand corrected. Three and out for Buffalo. Pats are bringing the kitchen sink on the blitzes now and HOLY CRAP THEY JUST TRAMPLED THE PUNTER.
Wow. Anyway. Getting the ball back again this soon is pretty big. I hope the Pats can capitalize.
