« Mourning Marquise | Main | Shaughnessy headline tomorrow morning: "IT WAS ALL JUST A DREAM" »

So tragic.

So often lately you hear about all of these absolute jerks in pro sports, and here was this great young man who did so much for other people, dying young (apparently after saving his companion). He did so much work down in his native New Orleans helping Katrina victims (including much of his own family), and he did of work up here with Tedi Bruschi and others, visiting sick children and helping those less fortunate. While not a superstar, it is clear he was a great person and a great guy to have at practice and in the locker room. To see big, strong NFL players like Jarvis Green crying on camera is hard to watch.
