Josh came right back with the curve, this time on the inside corner, and it sent Torrealba bending over backwards, literally swaying from the knees as the umpire rung him up.

That was quite possibly the best pitch of the night. The MLB International announcers said Torrealba swayed so far that he might be on the DL tomorrow with a strained back. ;-)

"Or..." for once, he had the good sense to correct himself. "...you could just throw a pitch like that one."

That was one of my FAVORITE moments of the night, but there were sooooo many!!

My buddy Brian and I have this ongoing battle about Tim McCarver. I'm the only person in the Universe who likes him. I thought his analysis of Torrealba's 1st knee buckling and how it set up the second devastating knee buckler was brilliant. That's just me.

By the way it's Sheila's friend, David. Great post!

Beckett Boot Camp may possibly be the greatest idea for a TV show, ever. I would pay-per-view for that, even.
