Randy Moss's press conferences are a source of great amusement to me. Take last night's episode following his record-breaking performance for example. The Randy Moss Experience began after a picture-perfect Tom Brady left the podium. There was an empty camera shot for a minute and silence, and then a voice off-camera. If you didn't know better, you'd think it belonged to one of the guys from King of the Hill. "Okay, okay, y'all know I ain't got all day."
Then, a shade-sportin' Moss stepped to the podium like something out of Dave Chappelle's "Black Bush" sketch (I'm thinking specifically of the appearance by Mos Def as Black Rumsfeld).
In answer to a question about how he felt breaking the record, Moss shot back, "the best thing about it is being able to shut all you people up. All my critics." Brady had been a Boy Scout in his presser as usual, but Moss wasn't afraid to let the people know what's up. And what's up is attitude, a pair of designer shades and a blue suit that would make Deion Sanders jealous.
If you want to read more about how the Patriots kick historic amounts of ass, here's my post on MVN. I know it's uncouth to mention that it got linked on Deadspin, but what can I say. I'm rollin' like Randy Moss today.
