Doctor X

I do not know.

Successful teams gather fair-weather fans and bandwagoners. Certainly the RS are no exception. I attended a game where the guys who bike people from the bars to the home stadium decided to wear RS gear rather than the home team gear.

However, unlike the author of the article, such problems are worth it for the success; for a good team that enjoys playing together--now that Manny is gone!--and a manager who is not "on the block" every few months, for an ownership that gives a shit about the team and fans. It is worth it.

The author's "advice" to Cubs fans reads like the MFY fan psychiatrists who declared that RS fans would "lose their center" and "reason for being" by winning a WS.

Methinks he has lived in Chicago too long.
