...I want your tickets. Yes, you. The ones you're reportedly selling off en masse. I have heard none of this, personally, but just in case someone is out there waiting to be asked: if you have tickets previously bought but don't care to use now that the Sox seem to be on the downside, contact me at girlanachronism at gmail dot com.
No judgments, no questions asked. I think it's perfectly acceptable to attend sporting events for all kinds of reasons, including to be seen at the ballpark or to back a winner. It's a free country and nobody has to fill out a questionnaire from me before they buy tickets.
But if there truly is a glut of tickets to be had on the market, I'm still interested. I haven't been to Fenway since mid-June and I'm jonesin'. Somebody help me out.
Also, in case anyone's thinking of laying the "Red Sox fans are fickle and entitled" crap or the "I told you Red Sox fans would abandon the team after 2004" crap at my feet, save your breath. I'm still watching and still interested in attending games, even if the Sox finish in last place. I can't and won't speak for everyone.

Yay! Beth's taking me to the Sox game with all her new tickets!
:D
