heh. Actually, if they have the money (and at this point, who knows?), and if Beltre were willing to sign in a tasuition like this, I'd be for keeping Beltre and rotating them all. Ortiz should really be platooning at this point, so your lineup vs. LHP is set, and then vs. RHP, let Youkilis play full-time among 1B, 3B, RF and DH, wherever someone else is hurt or needs a rest. You could just hand them the division title right now.

The double plays, both from Rodriguez and Jeter, have been leerxmety frustrating. I'd rather he strike out there. Instead, they have to try and settle for a two-out RISP chance which is much harder for this team.Cano is a totally different case. His laziness has killed and will continue to kill this team. If the right deal comes around, I'd definitely explore it.
