There are only a few early reports out about this so far, but it has been announced that the Patriots have placed Troy Brown, Chad Jackson, and...gulp...Adalius Thomas TE David Thomas*on the PUP list.
I've been told this is a family blog, and I need to keep my potty mouth confined to my own place, so I really can't put down here my first thoughts on hearing the news about Troy Brown.
Nobody appears to know why these players have been put on the PUP. My dad mentioned this when I calledhim hyperventilating about the ongoing Red Sox-Yankees contest.
"I think Troy's got 'old'."

I don't think it's possible for AT to be placed on the PUP list. If a player has practiced with the team (walk-throughs don't count), then the player is either on the roster or on injured reserve. AT did practice with the team today as well...According to Reiss, only Brown, Chad Jackson, and Eddie Jackson are on the PUP list.
