The dig for information and tape on the Patriots' new starting quarterback has yielded some...interesting results. First, on a serious note, you can view what USC Head Coach Pete Carroll had to say about Cassel here.
Now, onto the good stuff. Cassel has made his mark in New England on the stage, just not the NFL stage. At LB Larry Izzo's "Larryoke" charity event, Cassel took the stage and sang a Backstreet Boys song. I'm not sure how many choice beverages he had prior to taking the stage, but I'm not sure it was enough. Check out Matt Cassel's rendition of "I Want It That Way" here. Let's hope Sunday's performance on the field is better than his performance at "Larryoke".
Finally, Matt Cassel out-danced New England's own WR/Special teams ace Kelley Washington at Kevin Faulk's celebrity softball game charity event. Well, maybe "out-danced" is stretching it, but you can see his performance, along with Kelley Washington, here.
