Sam and I decided to take a trip over to Fenway to see if what it looks like over there two weeks before any baseball activity. Especially on a Sunday, it was eerily quiet.
Some shots of the calm before the Opening Day storm.
Closed Gate D reflected in the closed Red Sox team store.
This stuff festoons the intersection of Yawkey Way and Van Ness St. on game day.
Sam said it looked like some giant creature had come along and nibbled on the wall.
I've never seen the Ted statue so isolated.
The Teammates stand guard at closed Gate B.
Look! Infield and / or warning track dirt! (Yes, I acknowledge that we are gigantic dorks.)
P.S. Thanks for the jinx to whoever wrote this...
Jerk-o-saurus.
P.P.S. There are plenty more photos where these came from.
