Good news for Patriots fans: Pro Bowl defensive lineman Richard Seymour returned to practice today and could be eligible to play this Sunday, or the following week at Indy. Having Seymour in the lineup would be a huge boost to a defense that has struggled a bit as of late against the run. Washington comes to town this week with two tough runningbacks in Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts.
Just keeping an eye on the injury report, safety Eugene Wilson did not participate in practice with an ankle inury, along with TE Ben Watson (ankle) and RB Sammy Morris (chest). Notable names removed from the injury report are RB Laurence Maroney, LB Adalius Thomas, G Stephen Neal, CB Randall Gay, and WR Donte Stallworth.
